BENEFITS OF ADVENTIST EDUCATION
1
Houston Adventist Academy focuses on
every student's academic success. However, we do not stop there. We give an equal priority to developing and solidifying our students relationship with Christ.
2
Teaching is not like a cookie-cutter where one method works for all. Due to our low student to teacher ratio, this allows us to focus on the different individual needs of our students.
3
A study reviewing the academic achievement and abilities of Seventh-day Adventist students revealed that our students score higher in their knowledge and ability tests than the traditional education across the U.S.
4
Our curriculum is tailored to meet all the national standards of education. In addition to that, our students find Christ in the center all of our classes throughout all grade levels.
5
Our multi-grade classrooms allow for a family-like atmosphere. The older students are able to tutor the younger ones, allowing for strong connections to form.
6
Our student's parents are more involved in our activities as an appreciation to the learning environment their kids are in. There are plenty of volunteering opportunities for our parents to participate in.
7
The ability of peer tutoring among our students allow them to reaffirm the subjects they learn. This helps our students to retain the information they learn and improve their overall academics over time.
8
Our Adventist education promotes and encourages our students to take part in serving our community. Our students learn about life and the struggles different communities face via various community service events.
9
Our students have a 100% rate of pursuing higher education. After graduation, our students are all able to qualify to different universities of their choice.
In single and multigrade classrooms, remediation and enrichment activities can be more discreetly arranged than in traditional classrooms.
